Pure description of your B. Pouan jacket
The first piece you shared is a short, double-breasted, custom-made blazer in pastel yellow / cream colour.
The cut: It has a structured line with a double-breasted closure (round buttons covered in the same fabric for a very neat finish) and wide notched lapels. It's an elegant retro cut, typical of tailoring from the 1970s to the 1990s.
The interior: The entire jacket is lined with a heavy, shiny white / ivory satin, assembled by hand. There is a welted inner pocket in the lining, just above the white fabric label embroidered with the name of the artisan from Caen.
The drape: The thickness of the shoulders and the stiffness of the collar show the presence of a traditional sewn interfacing (and not heat-fused like in mass retail), which ensures the garment holds its shape perfectly over time.
