Jean Marithé François Girbaud Deconstructed Double Fly and Belt

Description
A rare Y2K design piece: deconstructed denim jeans from the Marithé François Girbaud archives. This style perfectly illustrates the brand's legendary avant-garde approach to tailoring, with its integrated contrasting canvas belt and vintage metal roller buckle. Its most remarkable detail? A striking and original double fly closure system: an external decorative panel, secured with metal buttons, conceals a robust and functional zippered fly. With its textured wash featuring a grid pattern and ergonomic twisted seams at the legs, these jeans are a must-have collector's item for fans of Japanese streetwear and archive pieces.

Key Features

Integrated Canvas Belt: Integrated contrasting beige/light brown canvas belt runs along the waistband with raw edges and is adjustable thanks to an aged metal buckle.

Unique double-fly design: Oversized decorative front flap with buttons that opens to reveal a classic metal zipper. Ergonomic twisted seams: Crafted with Girbaud's signature curved anatomical seam, these seams wrap around the legs for a unique fit and drape.

Slub textured denim: Premium mid-weight indigo cotton denim featuring a pronounced slub/hatched texture, pre-worn whiskers at the thighs, and a gradual wash at the hems.

Asymmetrical back pockets: A large traditional patch pocket paired with a buttoned flap utility pocket at the back.

Condition and measurements

Brand: Marithé François Girbaud

Color: Indigo blue / Contrasting beige waistband

Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The denim is thick and stiff, the built-in waistband is intact, and all original closures (buttons, buckle, and zipper) function perfectly.

Measurements: Exact measurements are provided in the last photos of the listing; please review them carefully for a perfect fit! Style tags
