This is out of stock and not found anywhere: 9 UK 9 US 10 EUR 44 Natural Chromexcel rough leather - Horween (USA) 2030 Reinforced last toe Partially structured toe Unlined Natural CXL gusset Tongue Nickel eyelets Natural leather midsole Vibram Christy 4014 Construction of natural rawhide stitched sole and flat waxed laces VB x DR collaboration Dust bags handcrafted in Canada ————————————— . A similar model was used by several countries as a standard military boot during World War II. Chromexcel Roughout Natural is, more specifically, the Marine Field tan that Horween produced for service boots used by the U.S. Army during World War II for conflicts in North Africa and the Pacific. This particular batch of Chromexcel is specifically designed for use on the flesh side to remain durable despite heavy use, have a consistent nap that can be handled by soldiers depending on conditions, and maintain its shape while remaining lightweight to foot. Additionally, it has been designed so that the interior has a quality finish that allows the boot to be unlined to reduce weight while providing comfort against the foot, and allowing soldiers to easily dump sand or debris. Using the popular 2030 Last, creating a clean silhouette paired with a clean cap toe and aggressive Vibram Christy sole, natural midsole and stitched construction. Whether a first pair or an addition to others, this is a boot that should be in everyone's collection as a tribute to an attention-grabbing shoe style that's also great on the street, in the woods or, if necessary, on the battlefield.
