Archival ,Timeless 80s Vintage alaia ivory colour cotton jacket. Structured with dropped shoulders . The jacket has a low V cut at the front , zippers on both sleeves and one at front pocket. The prominent cuts on the back and the front show alaia's masterful known craft for structure. The shoulder and sleeves drop in an architectural creativity. It has couture pockets prominent padded, stitched and formed in distinctive form.
It is a standout alaia creation.ivory colour. 100% cotton. Size 40 French. Length 67 cm/26 inch. In Very good condition but for tiny mark on sleeve and tiny hardly seen marks on front white clip ( enclosed photos)

About alaia
"When I design a garment, I am not looking to affirm a particular style. I think of the women who will wear it. I believe that I can say about my clothes that they are impossible to date, they are made to last." – Azzedine Alaïa

Vintage Alaïa is valuable due to the founder Azzedine Alaïa's unique sculptural approach to design, uncompromising craftsmanship, and creation of timeless, body-conscious silhouettes that transcend fleeting fashion trends. These pieces are considered art and command high prices in the resale market.

Alaia
– Azzedine Alaïa
