Chanel Boutique Vintage Short Coat / Jacket – Karl Lagerfeld 1980s (Silk & Wool)

Description:
For sale is a rare collector's item for lovers of real fashion history: An original Chanel Boutique short coat from the iconic 1980s. This model is one of the first designs created by Karl Lagerfeld for the house of Chanel after he took over in 1983. The piece can be worn as a short coat, blazer or even as a minidress.

The jacket has an avant-garde hybrid design that matches the eccentric 80s aesthetic…

Upper part & Sleeves: Deep black, elegantly shiny silk with the characteristic Chanel diamond quilting.
Hip & Waist part: A close-fitting, tailored silhouette made of 100% heavy, high-quality wool that creates a beautiful figure.
Details: Large, padded silk shawl collar, two slanted welt pockets at hip level and elegant, distinctive golden buttons with Chanel embossing on the waist and pockets.
Condition: Good/Very good vintage condition. The silk is intact, the buttons shine beautifully, unfortunately 1 button on the side coat pocket is missing. The original white "Chanel Boutique" label is firmly sewn in.
