✨ 'Urban Thrill' Skirt – Marithé & François Girbaud ✨
💬 Emotional presentation
A skirt that doesn't follow the rules... it redraws them.
Here, denim becomes architecture, volumes breathe, ribbons dance.
Each seam seems designed like a pencil stroke, each detail like a signature.
It is a living piece, almost in motion —
a free, bold look, profoundly Girbaud.

📌 Technical & stylistic details
Brand: Marithé + François Girbaud (M+F G)
Model: Iconic deconstructed skirt
Cut: Flared, corolla effect, panel construction with structuring darts
Size: 36 FR / 40 IT / 34 DE / 26 US
Material: Cotton (soft denim)
Colours:
Deep patinated denim blue, sky blue nuances, ecru topstitching contrasts,
subtle red piping — like a discreet pulse

🔍 Signature details (according to photos)
Wide waistband with black satin insert
Long black satin ribbon to tie or let float (living couture effect)
Asymmetrical closure with Girbaud branded metal buttons
Visible vertical topstitching, ecru tone, structuring the volume
Deconstructed panel construction with slightly frayed edges
Play of pleats and darts accentuating the fullness
Side openings with textile contrasts (ribbon / piping)
Back: large patch pocket with black satin piping and Girbaud signature
Skirt hem worked with overlapping ruffles and discreet red piping
→ rare detail, almost hidden… but terribly elegant

📏 Flat measurements
Waist: 39 cm
Length: approximately 50 cm

⭐️ Condition
Excellent condition
→ Please note: deliberately frayed finishes in places, a signature of the Girbaud style

👗 Style advice
This skirt is a statement piece.
→ Wear it with:
a minimal top (white, black or second skin)
structured boots or sandals
and let the ribbons live their own life…
💥 Result:
a sharp, effortless silhouette, almost artistic as if you just stepped off a catwalk... without looking like it.

✨ Marithé & François Girbaud「
